Harvesting Protocols
- Plants and Produce are for sale - ask our garden workers what is available, how much you can harvest and price - if nobody is about, pay for what you take in the yellow metal box at the front.
- Prices - some plants are priced - not sure what to pay? We are a not for profit organisation focused on neighbourhood sustainability operating an organic growing principles with a trust-based economic system of exchange - you decide how much this is worth to you when you are harvesting after hours. We sometimes place a Rahui (restriction) on some crops - please respect any signage to this effect.
- Harvest respectfully - this is a trust -based economy -the workers here set the harvesting protocols -e.g. Price and Quantity. Do not remove entire plants growing int he garden without our permission. Plundering (taking to much) and rough /disrespectful harvesting, is not tolerated. See website for more information on our harvesting protocols.
